Current focus: Construction & Fundraising
We got a large part of the construction completed this summer and fall, including the parking lot, pavilion slab, retaining wall, tennis/pickleball courts, and much of the walking path. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get all of the coatings and lines on the courts before the weather changed. We will, however, be able to continue to work on the remainder of the path and stormwater detention ponds this winter. The spring and summer of 2026 will see all of the remaining elements completed.
The unexpected stormwater abatement and mitigation system continues to set us back, both in terms of time and dollars. It has added approximately $100,000 in materials alone to the first phase of the project. Labor costs for installing the system and the complex grading of the area have added more.
